CHILDREN IMMERSION PROGRAMS
FOR FOREIGN SCHOOLS
Ayllón Language Experience provides Spanish immersion camps for 7 to 16 year old children combining the study of Spanish as a second language, with activities such as, sports, a wide range of workshops and children entertainment which will make the stay of the school groups a fruitful and unforgettable experience in Spain.
All daily activities will be carried out in Spanish by native speakers with a recreational approach to foster the kids’ listening and speaking skills. The program consists of a perfect mix, 4 hours of grammar lessons and varied and engaging activities (gymkhanas, karaoke, creative and fun workshops and camp games, etc) making the most of a location surrounded by nature.
A common day at the camp:
SPORTS : Soccer, volleyball, baseball and other alternative ones like frisbee, Zumba, etc.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES: Adventure country track including a zip-line and a rock climbing wall, archery, trekking, canoe trips at the pond, etc.
SHORT FILM WORKSHOP: Scripting, filming and editing a short film which will be projected at the Cinema Gala.
OTHER WORKSHOPS: Arts & crafts workshops (bracelets, t-shirts, juggling), dancing, playing percussion instruments, etc.
WALKING TRAILS: Nature study explorations
NIGHT EVENTS: Night gymkhanas, disco, contests, Cinema Gala, treasure hunt games, camp games, Stars Gala and other talent shows.
GROUP DYNAMICS: knowledge and trust dynamics and values education to encourage social relations. All adjusted to the different ages.
DAILY ENTERTAINMENT: TAll our activities have a high level of entertainment. Morning sessions start with a wide array of activities (shows, dances, radio, Thai chi, children’s traditional games). The entertainment is non-stop all day long till its highest point, the night event.
There are two different and outstanding locations available for the camps:
LA CASONA DE SOMOLINOS
- Located beside Somolinos pond, in the province of Guadalajara (Spain), 100 Mi from Madrid.
- Capacity for 150 students
- 18.5 acres of green meadows with centenarian trees
- Stoned house from the 17th century with bedrooms which have en suite bathrooms and cabins with shared bathrooms
- Spacious indoor places for workshops and events
- Swimming pool in a unique environment
- Sports field, volleyball court, outdoor archery field, driving range and practice green
- Adventure country track with bridges, zip-line and rock climbing wall
- Pond
- Picnic area

EL PINAR DE PIEDRALAVES
- Located in the village of Piedralaves, in the province of Ávila (Spain), a 62 Mi drive from Madrid
- Capacity for 170 students
- 4 acres of an enclosed green environment with forests
- Canadian style stoned cabins and apartments
- Indoor courts for basketball, soccer, volleyball. Outdoor field archery. Miniature golf course, and ping-pong tables
- Outdoor swimming-pool
- Adventure country track
- Indoor spaces dedicated to workshops and camp games
- Dining hall and kitchen service
- Nurse’s office and laundry service
- Support vehicles
GENERAL TERMS:
- Groups must have a minimum of 50 children each. Groups are sorted out by age
- One certified counselor is assigned to each 12 children and there is one supervisor per group
- Age range: between 7 and 16 years old
- Check-in and check-out date: Sundays
- Entrada lunes, salida viernes (opcional entrada domingo salida domingo)
- Spanish certified teachers
